Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani Peruvian Muay thai fighter, mixed martial artist and currently competes at the UFC flyweight division. She is the sister of the fellow UFC fighter and former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko's combat sport career started out with her debut as a Muay Thai athlete. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title after which she defeated Suzane Mller in a unanimous decision. Antonina took home a trophy of silver in 2007 and a medal of bronze in 2008, and she won a gold medal in the year 2011. Antonina was also named IFMA Amateur World Muaythai Champions in 2016. Antonia started her professional career in 2003. She won the WKC K-1 World Championship 2012 for Light Welterweight as well as in the lightweight division of Lion Fight Championships in 2016, as well as the WMC World Championships as well as the Phoenix FC World Championships 2016. Antonina took on Isa Tidblad Kskikangas during her final match at Phoenix Fighting Championship. The fight was won unanimously. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina knocked out Nievera using her striking skills that are superior to Nievera through a clinch using her knees against her body.
