Louisa Krause was born in New York City. She is most famous for her role as Anna Garner, the main character in The Girl Experience. Brenda Woodberg played her first part on the screen in Babysitters in which she starred as Brenda Woodberg. Krause began studying drama when she was a college student before appearing on Broadway and off Broadway productions. The family of her father is Japan as is her mother who is American. Nathaniel is her older brother. He is an actor as well as a director. Her passion for art was sparked at an early age when she studied dance at the Washington School of Ballet, Washington D.C. She then began to take part in various musicals and plays by Bill Russell and Henry Krieger including Side Show. Her choice of Carnegie Mellon Drama School was the first school she chose after having finished high school. Krause's professional journey began after she felt confident. Through a musical adaptation of Aida she earned her Equity Card. Louisa Krause started her career as a stage actress. She made her debut in 2006 with the Huntington Theatre Company. The production was Iphigenia in the Signature Theatre Company's Iphigenia 2 in 2007.
